Bowl Sizefull size– 2 liters (approximately 8 1/2 cups)

Accessories and Extras- a plastic universal bowl (sealed to prevent leakage), a cream propeller whipping tool, stainless steel shredding disc and slicing disc

Overall Rating– 4.5 out of 5 stars

Overall Review– 94% of the reviews of this food processor were accompanied by a 4 or 5 star review! All but one were 5 star. Braun consistently produces reliable food processors with a large range of function, yet somehow this brand is largely overlooked. There are a few possible reasons for this:

Braun food processors feature belt driven motors, something normally only found on cheaper food processors. Braun has managed to make the motor quiet and efficient without the benefit of a direct driven motor.

Braun just doesn't have the name recognition of KitchenAid and Cuisinart (at least not in the U.S.) Many of Braun's food processor aren't even available for use in the United States.

Braun food processors are not flashy. They aren't available in the latest styles many cooks are looking for. You won't find stainless steel, brushed nickel or candy colors. What you will get is a workhorse capable of doing everything a food processor should. There are 113 reviews available for this food processor. See All 113 Reviews

Overall Rating 4 out of 5 stars

Overall Review 78% of the reviews of this food processor are quite positive and accompanied by a 4 or 5 star rating. This is a great entry level food processor for someone on a very tight budget. It's reliability and functionality can't be beat in this price range. Most of the reviews are from first time food processor owners, and they are pleased with the overall performance of this model. It's compact size will suit a cook who generally only prepares food for two people.

A word of caution: this is a very inexpensive machine. It will not have the sharp blades or powerful motor you will find on more expensive models. This food processor has a 300 watt belt driven motor (for more on food processor motor types see our Food Processor Buying Guide.) That type of power can't compare to the higher end models, but the reviews show this to be a decent appliance for the incredibly low price. It is very important to have realistic expectations when considering a model that is one of the cheapest available.
