Quick and Easy Tomato Salsa

easy salsa recipe for the food processorThis light and healthy salsa is packed with flavor. It’s quick and easy to make in the food processor. Eat it with tortilla chips, use it to top chicken or fish or use it in place of high calorie dressings on your next salad.

 

 

 

 

Ingredients:

4 medium tomatoes, halved

1 small onion , quartered

1 jalapeno, halved (remove the seeds and pith if you don’t want it spicy)

2 garlic cloves, smashed

The juice and zest of one lime

3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil

1/2 teaspoon freshly ground cumin

1/2 teaspoon sea salt

 

Directions:

Place all ingredients in your food processor and pulse until combined but still chunky. That’s it! Your fresh, homemade salsa is ready to be enjoyed.
