Raw Banana “Ice Cream” Recipe

It's delicious as is and even better topped with chopped nuts and cinnamon.



 4 very ripe bananas

1 ripe hass avocado



Cut the bananas into 1 inch slices. Put into a sealable bag and freeze for at least 12 hours. Take out of freezer and put it into the food processor work bowl. Let sit for 5 minutes to slightly thaw.

raw banana ice creamProcess till smooth; it should look like the picture to the left. Add the avocado and process till well combined. At this point it will be the consistency of soft serve ice cream. If a firmer texture is desired, return to the freezer for 30 minutes. If left to completely refreeze it will become too hard. Enjoy!
