Recipe For Quick and Easy Raw Tomato and Basil Sauce

This is a wonderful, healthy raw sauce that is done in minutes with the help of your food processor. It is absolutely fabulous on pasta and equally at home on beef or chicken. It has an incredible fresh-from-the-garden flavor that you just can't get from cooked vegetables.


12 ounces of cherry or grape tomatoes

1 large handful of fresh basil leaves

1/2 cup of raw pistachios

4 large garlic cloves, peeled

1/4 teaspoon of crushed red pepper

1 teaspoon of sea salt

1/2 cup of extra virgin olive oil

1/2 cup of freshly grated Parmesan cheese, made from raw milk if you want the sauce to be truly raw (you can use your food processor to grate the cheese quickly and easily)


Place the tomatoes, basil, pistachios, garlic cloves, crushed red pepper and sea salt into the work bowl of your favorite food processor. This makes a lot of sauce; you will want to use a full sized food processor for this task. Process until well pureed, then slowly drizzle the extra virgin olive oil through the food processor feed chute. Add the Parmesan cheese and process till combined. That's it! Your raw tomato and basil sauce is ready to go. Enjoy!
